In the line¨Plus I feel like Bill Murray trapped in Punxsutawney¨ is a simile. The meaning of the line compares his mindset of confusion and repeated steps to bill murray on groundhog day as he repeats his day over and over. The effect of the figurative language is to explain his continuous, and crazy loop of a contemplating just like a lot of people trying to figure out themselves. In the line ¨I'm just a sleep walking robot that's outta gear¨is a metaphor. The meaning of the line is comparing himself just moving with no motive, emotion, or true ideal on what he want to to do just like a robot with a specific program. The effect of this figurative language is to inform about the you the mindset of one captivated on just getting the day over with and not doing more. Overall the language contributes to the sad tone which connects to my school career.
